Statement of Faith

1. The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, consisting of 66 books in the Old and New Testaments. It is the supreme and final authority for all matters of faith, life, and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

2. The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and of one essence (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

3. God the Father

We believe that God the Father is the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He is merciful and just, and His purposes are always good and righteous (Isaiah 45:5-7; Psalm 103:19).

4. Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory (John 1:1-4; Luke 1:34-35; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, and indwells, empowers, and guides believers for godly living and service. He distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church (John 16:8-11; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23).

6. Salvation

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are separated from God. Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. His death and resurrection provide the only means for the forgiveness of sins and reconciliation with God (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:23-24; John 14:6).

7. The Church

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus is the head. The Church is composed of all believers in Christ, who are called to glorify God through worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism, and service. We affirm the unity of all believers in Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14).

8. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe in the practice of two ordinances: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is an outward expression of inward faith in Jesus Christ, and the Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ’s sacrificial death and a reminder of His return (Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

9. Christian Living

We believe that every believer is called to live a life of holiness, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others as ourselves. We are to walk in obedience to God’s Word and reflect Christ’s character in the world (Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 5:16-18).

10. The Return of Christ

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, to establish His kingdom, and to bring about the final redemption of His people. We anticipate the resurrection of the dead and the eternal state in which believers will dwell with God in the new heavens and the new earth (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 21:1-4).

11. Eternity

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people: the saved to eternal life in heaven with God, and the unsaved to eternal separation from God in hell. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence (John 5:28-29; Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 20:11-15).

12. Christian Counseling and Psychology

We believe that Christian counseling is a vital ministry rooted in the wisdom of Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit. It is not confined to a select group of professionals but can be exercised by any believer who is called, gifted, and equipped by God to bring healing and wholeness to others. Christian counseling integrates biblical truths with psychological principles, addressing the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—while relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit for wisdom and discernment. This ministry serves to restore individuals to Christ-centered living, fostering emotional, mental, and spiritual health within the body of Christ (Romans 15:14; Galatians 6:1-2; James 5:16).
